2022 President's Cup

On February 7th, 2020, a tree was planted at the Redhawk Golf  Course, in memory of Donald Byford-Brown, known among his many friends  as “Dash”.

Donald passed away in October of 2019.  His  family is held a celebration of a life well-lived on March 21st 2020 at  Redhawk Golf Course.  At the planting, his family placed his ashes along  with the tree. The Redhawk location is where he can be remembered by  family and friends at his “home away from home”.  He will be looking  down at the 1st tee as we tee off.  This will give his golf friends a  spot to regularly remember how much we enjoyed him being with us.  His  family will have a memorial location that will grow in the years to  come.  His regular playing partner Alan de la Sierra also placed a  still-lit cigar in the tree well – most appropriate!
